Serzh Sargsyan delivered speech at the ceremony:

“Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,

Dear Laureates,

I cordially welcome you and congratulate on receiving the President’s Awards of the Republic of Armenia. I am very happy that today we meet and communicate on such a pleasure occasion, by properly assessing your value.

This work for already many years has been supported by respectful members of Poghoyan family. By using this chance, I want to once again express gratitude on behalf of all of us to them for jointly implementing this important work.

Dear Jean, for already several years we together reveal the creative potential of our country and people, encourage our scientists and artists to continue their dedicated work. This is a significant contribution to Armenia’s development, and of course, it is highly appreciated from us.

Dear friends,

According to tradition, one of the most importany achievements of the creative thinking and flight of our people, the Armenian Alphabet, appeared to St. Mesrop Mashtots in the form of vision. Historians say many scientific discoveries were made as a result of an accident, even a dream.

Such evidence may have grounds, however, the truth is only partially reflected. Yes, enlightenment can happen instantly, even in subconscious. However, the so-called ‘accidents’ occur only with people who for years prepared grounds for that.

Creative work requires careful and consistent targeting of years. The combination of information, science, skills and experience can never be without consequences. Those are the firm grounds that bring creative flight.

I am confident that everyone who received this award has a unique history of his/her long-term efforts, search for truth, detecting mistakes and improving them.

Let this award firstly be the first page of success history for youth so that new awards and international recognition are not late.

Dear Laureates,

Concluding my speech, I once again congratulate you and wish you new achievements in your future endeavors for the benefit of our people and humanity.

Thank You”.
