Business meeting held in Armenia’s Consulate General in LA

YEREVAN, MAY 26, ARMENPRESS. By the initiative of the Armenian Consulate General in Los Angeles and assistance of the California Consulting LLC, a meeting was held on May 24 with participation of heads of Chambers of Commerce of LA, Orange countries, Glendale, members of business consulting structures, and representatives of US large and medium enterprises, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told Armenpress.

During the meeting representative of Armenia’s Consulate General Valeri Mkrtumyan presented Armenia’s investment environment, legislation, prospective sectors and business potential.

The discussion participants had a chance to be introduced on KPMG international consulting company’s analysis on Armenia’s investment opportunities, tax policy and the Armenian Government’s privileges provided to investors.

Head of California Consulting LLC Steve Samuelian said new beginning of relations is marked with the US business field, adding that the business-discussions will continue in future as well aimed at implementing prospective investment programs in IT and other fields.

Speaking about the future programs, Steve Samuelian said it is expected to organize the visit of representatives of several US major companies to Armenia to get acquainted with the investment field and assess the opportunities for mutual partnership.
