YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. An army bomb disposal unit is at a street in Hulme, Greater Manchester Police has said, BBC reports.

It is too early to say whether the alert is linked to its investigation into Monday's bomb attack at Manchester Arena, the force said, but said it was an incident in Linby Street.

Several roads are closed and officers are "assessing the situation".

Earlier the UK PM Theresa May has said the threat level "will remain at critical and the public should remain vigilant”.

22 people were killed and 64 injured after suicide bomber Salman Abedi detonated a homemade device at Manchester Arena on May 22.
