YEREVAN, MAY 23, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s acting Minister of Transportation, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan held a meeting with the delegation of Roscosmos State Space Corporation on May 23, press service of the Ministry told Armenpress.

The representatives of Roscosmos and heads of companies of other fields from Russia arrived in Armenia to hold working discussions.

From the Armenian side the working discussions are attended by the representatives of the Crisis Management Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry, the Byurakan Observatory and the Yerevan State University.

Acting Minister Martirosyan welcomed the guests and expressed hope productive discussions will be held in the upcoming days which will give significant results.

A decision was made to divide the delegation in 3 groups. They will discuss issues related to the installation of GLONASS or Global Navigation Satellite System.

The delegation representatives said the GLONASS station for Armenia is already in the reserve, and they wait for ratification of the agreement.

Other issues were also discussed at the meeting.
