Armenia’s Greco-Roman wrestlers all set for European Championship
11:11, 6 May 2017YEREVAN, MAY 6, ARMENPRESS. Athletes of Armenia’s Greco-Roman Wrestling team began performances in the European Championship which is currently underway in Novi Sad, Serbia.
Three Armenian Greco-Roman wrestlers are set for the bouts.
Olympic Champion Arthur Alexanyan will begin from the qualifying round against Vilius Laurinaytis from Lithuania.
Gevorg Gharibyan, 59kg, will compete against Azerbaijani Taleh Mamadov in the 1/8 round, while Karen Aslanyan’s opponent will be Atakan Yuksel from Turkey.
