Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani FMs agree to continue talks during Moscow meeting

YEREVAN, APRIL 28, ARMENPRESS. By the initiative of the Russian side, the working meeting of Foreign Ministers of Armenia, Russia and Azerbaijan – Edward Nalbandian, Sergey Lavrov and Elmar Mammadyarov, was held in Moscow on April 28, press service of the Armenian MFA told Armenpress.

At the meeting the sides continued discussing the issue on moving forward the negotiation process over the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement. The officials highlighted the necessity to implement the agreements reached at the Vienna and St. Petersburg summits last year.

The Armenian and Azerbaijani FMs expressed gratitude to the Russian FM for the continuous efforts aimed at assisting the peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict. The Ministers agreed to continue talks over the issues discussed at the meeting.

After the trilateral meeting, a meeting was also held with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs – Ambassadors of Russia, US and France, as well as the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office. They exchanged views on the Karabakh conflict settlement process.
