Armenian-American father of missing 5 year old released from jail in California for ‘insufficient
kidnapping evidence’

YEREVAN, APRIL 27, ARMENPRESS. Aramazd Andreasyan Sr., a California father of a 5 year old missing child who law enforcement agencies believe has kidnapped his own son, has been released from jail due to ‘insufficient evidence’.

People magazine reported law enforcement agencies continue search operations for the boy. The father is still considered a suspect. Police assume Aramazd Andreasyan had left his son unattended on April 22 in San Marino.

The father was arrested on April 22 for child endangerment as well as suspected kidnapping. He was jailed with a bond of 10 million USD.

The 5 year old boy is missing for more than a week.

Police say the child went missing after his parents got into an argument. The boy last contacted his mother via Skype on April 18, after spending a week with his father.

Surveillance cameras spotted the child with his father in Disneyland.

On April 22, law enforcement officers discovered the 35 year old father unconscious near his car.

Police are clarifying details.

More than 120 people searched for the boy near the car on that day.
