Armenian Government’s program aims at creating new jobs, says PM

YEREVAN, MARCH 29, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Government’s entire program is first of all directed towards creating new jobs, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at a meeting with Abovyan community people of Kotayk province, reports Armenpress.

“However, we don’t want to do this at the expense of restoring our old productions. During these 20-30 years the world has so changed that if we decide to restore the old productions, it will not have any prospect and future”, the PM said.

He said he is regularly speaking about the fact that the community leaders must submit community development program to the government where must be mentioned what advantages that community has, what it can propose, what production must be established in that community in order to create new jobs.

“I am talking mostly about this topic. For instance, I cannot imagine Avobyan’s development program better than the community leader. He must prepare a program, submit it to the Governor, and the latter will submit it to us. We will discuss the program, will finalize it and will try to implement, present it to the investor. But all these must come from the community. The community residents must also be familiar with the program”, the PM said.
