campaign involvement report

YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia studied the materials of the Union of Informed Citizens (recordings of directors of 114 educational institutions), and revealed that only 1 of these recordings contains criminal elements, the Prosecutor General’s Office told ARMENPRESS.

“In response to your inquiry we inform you that the articles “RPA abuses administrative resources in schools and kindergartens” in media outlets and the list of recordings of directors of schools and kindergartens has been studied by the Prosecutor General’s Office back in January by a working group. The study revealed that one of the recordings contains criminal elements. The other mentioned recordings do not contain criminal elements, therefore information about them is under the jurisdiction of other authorized bodies”, the statement said.

Earlier the education and science ministry said it has tasked all directors involved to present clarifications as soon as possible.

On March 24, the “Union of informed citizens” NGO published a list of directors of 114 schools and kindergartens and the recordings to conversations, stating they are campaigning in favor of the ruling party – RPA.
