Exhibition of Armenian impressionists included in the list of Moscow’s key cultural events

YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS. Esquire Russia journal included the exhibition entitled “Armenian impressionism: from Moscow to Paris” in the list of 7 key cultural events of Moscow, reports Armenpress.

“By proving the existence of Russian impressionism, the Museum of Russian Impressionism started examination of schools of other nations. The first one is Armenian school. The exhibition entitled “Armenian impressionism: from Moscow to Paris” will be held in the Museum from March 25 to June 4. 58 works of more than 20 Armenian painters will be presented, including some paintings of famous painter Martiros Saryan. Most of the paintings are from the collection of Armenia’s National Gallery”, the article says.  

The works of Vardges Surenyats, Yeghishe Tadevosyan, Sedrak Arakelyan and other famous painters will be presented at the exhibition.
