Parliament session cancelled due to absence of quorum

YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. The regular session of four-day sitting in the Parliament of Armenia was cancelled due to absence of quorum, reports “Armenpress”.

On March 23, as of 12:00, 13 MPs were registered, however, the quorum requires presence of 66 MPs.

Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov informed that the registration of MPs will continue until quorum is ensured, but no more than 3 hours.

The three sessions of four-day sitting were cancelled in the Parliament due to absence of quorum. The MPs are absent since they are engaged in election campaign for the upcoming parliamentary election on April 2.
