YEREVAN, MARCH 16, ARMENPRESS. Political scientist Sergey Minasyan says Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Moscow on March 14 was important and successful in the context of regional security and the ongoing military-political processes, reports “Armenpress”.

“As an achievement I will identify the joint statement which highlighted the continuation of bilateral cooperation, as well as the provision of regional security. I think this is not exclusively related to Armenia’s security since an importance was attached also to ensuring international and regional security, and in my opinion, this relates to the common region, as well as to the Artsakh issue. The analysts also highlighted the fact that Putin specifically talked about the upcoming election”, Sergey Minasyan said.

“It is important also to note that it was stated at the two Presidents level that the sides must definitely make efforts aimed at implementing the Vienna and St. Petersburg agreements”, the political scientist said.

President Serzh Sargsyan visited Russia on March 14. He had meetings with President Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
