Russia, Turkey discuss supply of S-400 air defense missile systems

YEREVAN, MARCH 15, ARMENPRESS. Russian and Turkish Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed the possibility of supplying S-400 air defense missile systems to Ankara during the meeting held on March 10 in Moscow, Russia’s Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu told Izvestia newspaper, RIA Novosti reports.
Shoigu said the issue of selling S-400 air defense missile systems to Turkey was “discussed” during the talks held in Kremlin.
Russian President’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the newspaper that “the sides are interested and will continue the talks”.
