YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. The recent escalations in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact are the logical continuation of Azerbaijan’s activated war rhetoric. However, both the rhetoric and the military adventurism didn’t achieve their main goal, Aram Ananyan – historian, Director of “Armenpress” news agency, said.  

“For several days Azerbaijan’s official and semi-official media are filled with the language of hatred by both releasing an obvious provocative disinformation which had a demonstration of poor performances with the participation of Zakir Hasanovs and Zeynab Khanlarovas”, Ananyan said.

He said such behavior can be linked with several factors, one of which is Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s policy to make his family’s power even more unlimited which has serious consequences for Azerbaijan and will lead to more severe results.

“Blatant military provocations do not remain unpunished, and the international community must make a well-targeted reaction on such behavior that doesn’t suit the realities of the contemporary world. The international community already understands everything very well, and we are confident that this time the attitude must not be saving as much as before”, Aram Ananyan said.
