Armenia’s Ambassador meets Cairo Governor
16:43, 22 February 2017YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Ambassador to Egypt Armen Melkonyan on February 21 had a meeting with Cairo Governor Atef Abdel Hamid, press service of the MFA told “Armenpress”.
During the meeting the sides discussed the prospects on deepening the ties and cooperation at several sectors between the capitals of the two friendly states. Both emphasized the necessity to carry out mutual visits and form a respective legal framework.
Cairo Governor spoke with respect about the significant input of Armenians living in Cairo in Egypt’s social and cultural life.
The Armenian Ambassador thanked for the warm reception and highly appreciated the attention and friendly attitude of Cairo Governorate towards the Armenian community.
