YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on February 22 visited the Center for Strategic Initiatives of the Government, press service of the President’s Office told “Armenpress”.

Accompanied by the members of the Board of Trustees of the Center - Vice Prime Minister, Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms Vache Gabrielyan, Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan, and CEO of the Center Alexander Khachaturyan, the President toured in the Center, got acquainted with the conditions of its activity, talked with the employees.

After the tour, the CEO of the Center presented the President the strategy of the Center’s activity, priority directions and sectors, the works carried out on these directions, as well as short-term and long-term programs and the existing cooperation with other interested structures, organizations and individuals aimed at implementing those programs.

President Sargsyan welcomed the Center’s consistency, which has been established several months before under the PM’s initiative, the practical approach and dedication to the work and wished success for the implementation of programs.

He also presented his views and approaches on the ongoing works in separate sectors that are priority for the Center, and expressed readiness to assist the Center in case of necessity.
