YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. Armenian foreign minister Edward Nalbandian’s official visit to Russia began on February 22 with a wreath laying at the eternal flame for the Unknown Soldier Memorail and paying tribute to the victims of the Great Patriotic War.

Negotiations and a joint press conference of Nalbandian and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov are scheduled to take place later in the day.

The ministry of foreign affairs of Armenia told ARMENPRESS Edward Nalbandian and Sergey Lavrov will open the exhibition dedicated to the 25th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Armenia and Russia in the Russian foreign ministry’s reception house.

During the evening Nalbandian will meet with Ambassadors concurrently accredited in Armenia from over 4 dozen countries.
