“In fact the number is more than 200. They are at various levels, from the General Staff Academy to relevant educational institutions throughout Russia. We are really very grateful that many our future officers study in Russia’s best military educational institutions. This is a very important form of cooperation”, he said, adding that while in Moscow he met with the Armenian cadets who study in the Russian military educational institutions.
“We had a very informative and interesting talk on their studies. They were happy that they could use this opportunity. I visited the Academy of General Staff, presented our foreign policy and military-political approaches to the audience, filled with several hundreds of people. And we are very happy that there are Armenians among them. We are especially proud that our compatriot Marshal Baghramyan headed this military educational institution”, Vigen Sargsyan said.
