YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS. The training of Armenia’s Armed Forces is carried out on the highest level, defense minister Vigen Sargsyan told RIA Novosti.

“The administration system quality is very high in Armenia, the officer staff of the Armed Forces and all those involved in the administration system of the Armed Forces have passed a very serious combat path and have military academic education. I am sure, for experts who are familiar with the region it is no secret that the level of readiness of the Armenian Armed Forces significantly exceeds the term “combat ready””, the defense minister said.

According to Vigen Sargsyan, it is very important to give preference to quality rather quantity in forming the defense.

“This namely is regards the system of armament acquisition, effectiveness of seeking partners and introducing such armaments which are able to give adequate response to existing risks and threats”, he said.
