Armenia’s Education Ministry receives 393 applications for admission to Russian universities

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 17, ARMENPRESS. The admission applications of the competition announced over receiving higher and postgraduate education in the Russian universities for 2017-2018 is over which has been conducted by Armenia’s Ministry of Education and Science and the Russian Center for Science and Culture, press service of the Ministry told “Armenpress”.

The Armenian Ministry received 393 applications for admission to the Russian universities.

The applications were distributed in the following way: 44 applications were submitted for the Diploma Specialist, 146 applications for Bachelor’s degree, 147 for Master’s, 40 applications for Residency Program and 16 applications for PhD.

The exams will be held from February 16 to 24, 2017, and the second round will take place between March 1-3.

The tuition fees of the successful candidates will be free of charge, at the expense of the Russian budget. The Russian side has provided 187 seats for the Armenian citizens to study in the Russian universities, including 60 seats for Bachelor’s degree, 49 for the Diploma Specialist, 52 for Master’s degree, 22 for PhD and 4 seats for Residency Program.
