K9 units of Russian military base in Armenia begin ordnance search & clearance exercises

YEREVAN, JANUARY 20, ARMENPRESS. Russian mine clearance K9 units have launched trainings in two mountainous military training facilities of the Russian military base in Armenia.

The Southern Military District Command told ARMENPRESS more than 100 soldiers are involved in the exercises, along with K9 units (Labrador and German Shepherd), more than 10 units of military hardware, including state of the art reconnaissance and radio complexes.

The military engineers will conduct ordnance search & clearance trainings.
