YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. In order to increase the volumes of foreign investments Armenia must show that it is a logical, predictable and understandable partner, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan told reporters during a press conference on January 13, reports “Armenpress”.

“First of all it is necessary to improve the legislative field in order the investor understands that investing here is profitable for him”, the PM said.

However, the PM said it will be wrong to improve only the legislative field and wait for the investor to come, rather it is necessary to be initiator as well. “We must be initiator, speak, convince in order to attract investors”, he said, adding that he has already assigned all Ministries to present how much investment it is possible to expect in each of their fields and what steps must be taken.
