YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan held a consultation with the participation of heads of concerned agencies during which they discussed the investment projects packages presented by Gegharkunik province in accordance with the agreement reached during the PM’s visit to the province, press service of the Government told “Armenpress”.

The participants discussed in-detail each of the presented business projects that related to the development and expansion of cheese production, dairy products, agricultural production.

By attaching importance to the development and implementation of investment projects in the provinces, PM Karapetyan said the Government will co-finance and assist the projects that have prospects, economic explanation, assessed risks, that can become an effective business by creating new jobs and ensuring a multiplier effect.

Summarizing the discussion results, the PM assigned the Ministries of Agriculture, Economic Development and Investments and proposed the Central Bank to consider the possibility on providing assistance to the implementation of the approved projects through their structures.

It was also proposed to create a platform with the participation of the Central Bank aimed at conducting business lectures and educational program for businessmen which will contribute to more thorough and effective preparation of investment projects.
