YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact around 50 times employing various caliber small arms, the defense ministry of Nagorno Karabakh (NKR) told ARMENPRESS.

The ministry issued a statement, saying: “Overnight January 10-11 Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime over 50 times in all directions of the NKR-Azerbaijan line of contact using various caliber small arms, including sniper rifles. Azerbaijani forces fired more than 900 shots at NKR posts. More intense violations occurred in the eastern (Martuni) part, where Azerbaijani forces fired around 300 shots.

The Defense Army forces of NKR confidently continued their service and took countermeasures only in case of strict necessity”.
