YEREVAN, JANUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. US President-elect Donald Trump has named his son-in-law Jared Kushner as senior adviser at the White House, CNBC reports.

Earlier the US media supposed that Kushner, the owner of The New York Observer, may be appointed as chief of the White House staff.

“Kushner decided to forego his salary while working in the administration”, Trump’s transition team said.

The Guardian reports Trump’s transition team said Kushner had “formed an effective leadership team” with the president-elect’s chosen chief of staff, Reince Priebus, and his chief strategist, Steve Bannon.
