Geneva-based “FEDA” center new opportunity for Armenian exporters

YEREVAN, JANUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia Suren Karayan met with Hovel Chenorhokian on January 9 who introduced the opportunities to make use of the Geneva-based “FEDA” business and exhibition center, “Armenpress” was informed from the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of Armenia.

The 3800 square meter center is aimed at creating comprehensive representation for Armenian entrepreneurs in Europe. Hovel Chenorhokian presented the opportunities of the center, particularly, the representation of Armenian products in Europe, the prospects of exporting those products as a result of cooperation with major European commercial networks, as well as the logistical capacities of the center.

Minister Suren Karayan highlighted the activities of the center where he had toured before. According to the Minister, the correct use of the center’s capacities can record significant results.

The participants of the meeting exchanged ideas over the creation of a logistics center in Armenia which will foster the representation of Armenian products in Europe and their export procedures. An agreement was reached according to which the Ministry will introduce in the near future the list of those Armenian companies the products of which will meet the qualitative standards of Europe and will be interested in exhibiting their products in the center.
