Israel’s President arrives in Georgia on official visit
YEREVAN, JANUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. President of Israel Reuven Rivlin arrived in Georgia on a two-day official visit, Georgia’s Presidential administration said, reports RIA Novosti.
“Israel’s President arrived in Georgia at the invitation of the President of Georgia. This is a very important event in the history of our states. The visit coincides with the jubilee year when our countries celebrate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. It is especially important to realize the existing potential of bilateral relations”, Foreign Relations Secretary at the Georgian president's administration Tengiz Pkhaladze said.
During the visit Reuven Rivlin will have meetings with his Georgian counterpart Giorgi Margvelashvili, Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili and Parliament Speaker Irakli Kobakhidze.
