YEREVAN, DECEMBER 9, ARMENPRESS. Newly appointed French Minister of Interior Bruno Le Roux is blacklisted by Azerbaijan. “Armenpress” reports in September 2015 together with a group of French parliamentarians he visited Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh. The then French legislator also visited Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line at that time.

On this occasion the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan issued another statement on December 7. The ministry’s spokesperson Hikmet Hajiyev mentioned that Bruno Le Roux has visited “occupied territories of Azerbaijan” without Baku’s permission violating “the country’s low on territorial integrity and sovereignty”.

A number of French legislators are blacklisted by Azerbaijan for visiting Nagorno Karabakh.
