EEC Board Chairman Sargsyan presents certain proposals on deepening integration to Russia’s 
Putin

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tigran Sargsyan proposed Russia’s President Vladimir Putin to discuss a number of ideas on deepening the integration within the Eurasian Economic Union, reports TASS.

“Over 25 issues are prepared for the Supreme Economic Council’s session, and all they include a very serious potential, for boosting the economic growth of our states as well”, Tigran Sargsyan said and promised to present Putin “a number of principled issues that can boost the integration”.

Sargsyan thanked Putin for the attention he shows towards deepening the integration between the EAEU and its member states.

Putin said the EAEU Customs Code is going to be approved at the St. Petersburg summit on December 26.  “We look forward to see you in St. Petersburg on December 26. The new Customs Code is going to be approved, which is also an important milestone on the way of forming a common economic area”, Putin told Tigran Sargsyan.

The Russian President said the proposals presented by the EEC Board Chairman are interesting and have prospects. He said the already existing agreements are only base for raising competitiveness of the free movement of goods, capital and labor, as well as that of all member states of the Union.
