YEREVAN, DECEMBER 8, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Serzh Sargsyan today visited a south-eastern military post.

The President’s Office told ARMENPRESS the President was accompanied by the Defense Minister and top command of the Armed Forces and reviewed the combat readiness of the post, listened to the commander’s report, talked to the soldiers, and later toured the newly built barracks of the post, reviewed the conditions and had lunch with the soldiers in the cafeteria.

The President encourages several distinguished servicemen.

President Sargsyan later departed to Nagorno Karabakh on a working visit.
