Official vehicle of Defense Minister crashes, driver and security officer killed

One of the official cars of Armenia’s Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan fell into a gorge in the so-called “Gomer” area of Goris city, Syunik Province, Acting Head of the Public Relations Department of the Defense Ministry Gevorg Altunyan told “Armenpress”.
As a result of the accident, driver Armen Lusikyan and security officer Alexander Simonyan were killed.
“The two victims were contract servicemen. It is being clarified whether there have been other people in the car. Vigen Sargsyan was not in the car”, Altunyan said.
