Turkey’s FM comments on Germany’s adoption of Armenian Genocide resolution during meeting with Steinmeier

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. After meeting Germany’s foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier, Turkey’s foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke about the German Bundestag’s adoption of the Armenian Genocide resolution during a press conference, Deutsche Welle reports.
Cavusoglu condemned the adoption of the resolution and expressed hope that the Turkish-German relations will return to “the previous state” in a brief period of time.
Germany’s Parliament, the Bundestag, adopted a resolution on June 2 recognizing the Armenian Genocide.
