YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Parliamentary session has kicked off with 92 lawmakers registered.

Issues discussed during the previous session will be put up to voting.

During the October 26 session, lawmakers debated the 16th protocol of the “Human rights and fundamental freedoms” convention.

Afterwards deputy minister of Justice Vigen Kocharyan presented the agreement signed in 2006 in Minsk on protection of participants of criminal court proceedings. The agreement aims at providing the safety and security of participants of criminal judicial proceedings.

Afterwards lawmakers debated amending the Employment law and the Penitentiary Code, which aims at organizing specialized education for released convicts.

Lawmakers also debated amending the law on securities market.
