Key issues of integration agenda to be discussed at Eurasian Intergovernmental Council’s session

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council’s session is being launched in Minsk, with the participation of heads of governments of Armenia, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kirgizstan. The session will focus on several key issues of the integration agenda of EEU.

During the meeting the heads of governments intend to complete the preparation of the new Customs Code draft of the EEU, which will later be adopted by heads of member states.

The participants will also discuss the draft agreement of monitoring mechanisms for movements of goods in member states.

The five Prime Ministers will focus on deciding priority directions of talks with key partners of the union, and development of trade-economic cooperation with integration entities and third countries.

According to TASS, during the meeting several decrees prepared by the Eurasian Economic Commission will be signed, in particular, the 2017 budget of the union is planned to be discussed and approved.
