YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani troops continued to violate the ceasefire regime in different sections of the contact line of Karabakh-Azerbaijan opposing armies. In the north-eastern (Talish) directions Azerbaijanis used AGS-17 automatic grenade launcher and SPG-9 anti-tank gun apart from firearm weapons.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Defense Ministry of NKR (Artsakh), Armenian soldier Gurgen Ayvazyan, 1996, received fatal injuries in the north-eastern direction of the contact line at about 17:00 as a result of the ceasefire violation by Azerbaijani forces. 

Investigation is underway to clarify details.
