YEREVAN, OCTOBER 25, ARMENPRESS. The Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources and the “Rosgeologia” company are set to cooperate in the field of geology and mining for the development of Armenia’s mining sector, with the aim of searching, evaluating and researching mineral deposit locations, the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources told ARMENPRESS.

Cooperation will include various directions, such as : targeted search operations for groundwater, hydrocarbon and solid minerals, re-evaluation of all documented mineral deposit reserves, exploration and recalculation of more promising mines and reserves, feasibility, technologies of recycling and processing of industrial waste.

An important direction will be oil and gas geophysical surveys and realization of drilling works.

A task force will be formed, which will choose perspective cooperation directions in mining and geology, including locations.
