YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. A Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia and “Rosgeologia” in the presence of PM Karen Karapetyan on October 24. The document was signed by the Minister of Energy Infrastructures and Natural Resources of Armenia Ashot Manukyan and Chief Executive Officer of JSC Rosgeologia Roman Panov. According to the memorandum, the sides will develop cooperation in geological research and complex exploration activities, evaluation of mines and some other directions.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian Government, before signing the memorandum, PM Karapetyan and Chief Executive Officer of JSC Rosgeologia Roman Panov discussed issues of bilateral partnership touching upon the steps and projects of mutual interest.

The Prime Minister hailed the expansion of cooperation with “Rosgeologia”, stating that the Cabinet program highlights comprehensive and complex exploration of natural resources, and carrying out measure to ensure the transparency of resource exploitation. Karen Karapetyan noted that the bilateral partnership can promote investments and create jobs and the Executive is interested in joint ventures.

Thanking for the readiness to cooperate, Roam Panov introduced to the PM their visions of cooperation prospects. He mentioned that “Rosgeologia” is ready to launch activities in Armenia, noting that the country is rich in minerals which is very promising in terms of development.
