YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan held a meeting with Alexey Grigoriev - Co-Chairman of METRO AG Corporate Public Policy, Head of METRO AG Representative Office in Moscow, press service of the Government told “Armenpress”.

PM Karapetyan attached importance to the cooperation and further development of METRO AG and the Armenian export-oriented enterprises. Karen Karapetyan expressed hope the METRO AG will be able to find reliable partners among the Armenian producers with a long-term cooperation prospect. The PM stated that there are opportunities for expanding the export volumes of the Armenian agricultural products, processed production not only to the Eurasian, but also to other markets.

In his turn Alexey Grigoriev said they are interested in developing the ties with the Armenian partners and added that he sees great opportunities for that. He expressed confidence that they will manage to find ways of mutual cooperation as a result of active discussions.

A number of issues of bilateral interest, as well as the possibility of establishing METRO AG Representative Office in Armenia were discussed during the meeting.
