YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. President of the National Assembly of Armenia sent a condolence letter on the occasion of the death of Armenian Filmmaker Nerses Hovhannisyan. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Armenian parliament, the letter runs as follows,

 “The films with the participation of Nerse Hovhannisyan actor, filmmaker and scriptwriter have passed through the experiment of time and do not ever recognize the boundaries of time. They, as unforgettable artistic and human pages of history and culture, due to Nerses Hovhannisyan’s undeniable mastery and creative unique handwriting, unite the numerous art lovers of the Armenian and post-Soviet cinema territories.

Films created by him are comprehensible and close to hearts of people of different generations, who directly see, feel and also enjoy the life, receive positive impulses and special energy through them.”

The Speaker of the National Assembly expressed his condolence and words of comfort to Nerses Hovhannisyan’s family, relatives and his art lovers.
