YEREVAN, OCTOBER 24, ARMENPRESS. The Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh told “Armenpress” the Azerbaijani side made over 50 ceasefire violations across the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.

The Ministry’s announcement reads: “Overnight October 23-24 the Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire regime 50 times by firing over 900 shots from various caliber small arms at the Armenian positions in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact.

In the northern, southern and eastern directions the Azerbaijani forces fired also “ISTIGLAL” and “SVD” sniper rifles (83 shots).  

The Defense Army forces are in full control of the situation in the frontline and continue confidently fulfilling their military tasks”.
