YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan received the participants of the 8th Pan-Armenian Forum of Journalists on October 20. Greeting the Armenian journalists employed in different countries, the PM highlighted holding similar events that foster Armenia-Diaspora ties and consolidation of journalistic potentials.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Government of Armenia, the PM touched upon the Cabinet’s action plan, noting that the Diaspora and utilization of its potentials have a significant part in the plan. “Generally, I think the differentiation is very artificial, since we cannot survive without each other. Our potential and resources are the Armenians, irrespective of the place of his residence”, the PM said.

During the meeting the PM answered the questions of Diaspora Armenians referring to the priorities of the Armenian Government, expected reforms, preservation of the Armenian identity and threats.
