Turkish air force takes part in Mosul operations
15:16, 18 October 2016YEREVAN, OCTOBER 18, ARMENPRESS. Turkey has joined air strikes by the U.S.-led coalition during the operation to retake Mosul from the Islamic State, Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim said on Oct. 18, Hurriyet reported.
“Our air forces have also participated in air interventions in Mosul”, Yildirim said.
He added that Turkey would do "everything necessary" against all kinds of threats and did not need permission from others.
Yildirim said Ankara would respond if developments in Mosul lead to negative consequences against Turkey.
