Armenian Minister of Transport and WB representatives discuss prospects to increase 
investments and promote exports

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Transport and Communication of Armenia Vahan Martirosyan received Senior Private Sector Development Specialist at the World Bank Feyi Boroffice and Private Sector Development Specialist Hiroyuki Tsuzaki. The WB representatives introduced to the Minister the main goals of the “Trade Promotion and Quality Infrastructure Project” for Armenia.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Communication of Armenia, the sides discussed prospects of Armenia to increase investments and promote exports and expected support from the WB in that regard.

Minister Martirosyan mentioned that his ministry effectively cooperates with the World Bank in the sidelines of “Lifeline Road Network Improvement Project for Armenia”, and similar meetings foster bilateral partnership.  The Minister also highlighted the cooperation with the WB in the IT sector, hoping that the bilateral partnership will be promoted to a new level.
