YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The new Armenian Legal Center for Justice & Human Rights (ALC) will keep the legal issues related to the Karabakh issue in its spotlight, ALC Board member Kiro Manoyan said, reports “Armenpress”.

“By saying Karabakh issue one should not understand it as a right of NKR people or an Azerbaijani citizen with Armenian origin. By saying Karabakh issue we must consider Azerbaijan’s anti-Armenian policy for pursuing in the legal field. The preliminary examinations show there are great opportunities. It is necessary to coordinate these examinations and understand what can be done”, he said.

Through the use of national and international courts and forums, ALC will seek a just resolution of the Armenian Genocide and to defend Nagorno Karabakh’s right to independence. It will operate in Washington, but will work in the international arena bringing the attention on all possibilities to reach reparation. ALC Board members are both from Armenia and the Armenian communities of Diaspora.
