YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The Emergency Situations Coordination Council session of the CSTO will take place in Yerevan on September 29, the CSTO website reported.

“The Emergency Situations Coordinating Council session of CSTO member states will take place on September 29 in Yerevan, which will be chaired by Armenia’s Emergency Situations Minister Armen Yeritsyan. Deputy Secretary General of CSTO Valery Semerikov will take part and deliver a speech”, the statement reads.

The CSTO response to emergency situations will be discussed during the session. Issues related to expanding cooperation with international organization during the delivery of aid to victims of emergency situations will also be discussed.

The creation of an Armenian-Russian humanitarian response center in the territory of Armenia will be discussed, as well as the chairmanship of the Council’s session in 2017 and the schedule of the 2017 exercises.
