Turkey sends note to Germany
11:37, 27 September 2016YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS. The Turkish Foreign Ministry demanded Germany to hand over prosecutors Zekeriya Oz and Celal Kara who are blamed for having close ties with the Fethullah Gulen movement, Anadolu reported.
According to the Turkish diplomatic sources, the prosecutors live in the German city of Freiburg near the border with Switzerland and France.
An arrest decision has been made against them.
The Turkish MFA sent a note to the German MFA urging to check whether the prosecutors are in the Germany city of Freiburg. If the information is confirmed, the Turkish side demanded to hand over the prosecutors to Turkey.
Earlier Turkey has sent another note to Germany, but the German side announced that it has no information about the prosecutors’ place of being.
