Rio 2016 - US leads medal count
09:44, 22 August 2016YEREVAN, AUGUST 22, ARMENPRESS. The US led the medal count in Rio-2016, reports “Armenpress”. The Olympic team of the US won 121 medals (46 gold, 37 silver and 38 bronze). Greta Britain was ranked the 2nd winning 27 gold, 23 silver and 17 bronze medals. Chine ranked the 3rd place winning 26 gold, 18 silver and 26 bronze medals.
Russia, Germany, Japan, France, South Korea, Italy, Australia are ranked top ten starting from 4th.
Armenia’s Olympic team ranked the 42nd place winning 1 gold and 3 silver medals.
