YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. According to preliminary data 60 people have sought medical assistance or have been transported to five different hospitals in Yerevan after the incidents in Khorenatsi Street and Sari Tagh.

The Healthcare Ministry told ARMENPRESS 42 have been hospitalized in the “St. Gregory the Illuminator” medical center. Two of them are in serious condition. One of them is undergoing an eye surgery; the other one has received burns.

12 have been hospitalized in the Erebuni Medical Center. One of the injured is in serious condition. Five police officers are hospitalized in the Erebuni Medical Center. One of the police officers has sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is currently undergoing surgery.

The conditions of the other injured persons are stable.

Regarding media reports on minors being hospitalized, the Healthcare Ministry said these reports have not been verified by any hospital or emergency crews.
