Charges dropped against Levon Barseghyan
14:49, 29 July 2016YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. Spokeswoman of the Investigative Committee Sona Truzyan told ARMENPRESS charges will be dropped against Levon Barseghyan – President of the “Asparez” journalists’ club of Gyumri. Barseghyan will be released from custody.
“According to the expert’s conclusion, the knife which was found on Barseghyan during the search is not considered to be a weapon. The investigator has made a decision to set him free”, she said.
Earlier on July 27 Barseghyan was detained in Khorenatsi street and a 18.8 cm long knife had been found on him.
