Wounded gunman Pavel Manukyan still to stay in intensive care unit

YEREVAN, JULY 28, ARMENPRESS. Wounded gunmen Pavel Manukyan is still in critical, but stable condition. There is a positive dynamics in his health condition, the Armenian Healthcare Ministry’s spokeswoman Anahit Haytayan informed “Armenpress”.

“Today Pavel Manukyan is breathing without mechanical ventilation, but still there is a necessity to continue his treatment in the intensive care unit”, she said.

In the morning of July 17 a group of gunmen stormed the Police station in Yerevan. In the evening of July 27 two gunmen Gagik Yeghiazaryan and Aram Hakobyan surrendered to the law enforcement agencies. A firefight occurred as a result of which one of the law enforcement agencies, as well as gunmen Pavel Manukyan and his son Aram were wounded. All the three were immediately taken to hospital. Aram Manukyan has already been transferred to the “Prisoners’ Hospital”.
